Ashley Church believes that before he started actually living out his Christian life, while he earnt good money, he was always in debt, and could never keep any money. To the extent that he’s been successful today, he believes that it’s Gods hand on his life.

You can perhaps have different views than this, but when someone makes a claim like this for their own life, maybe there’s something in this.

In the context of the previous couple weeks, you don’t have to be a fan of baby Jesus in the manger to realise as a society we’ve drifted miles away from the values that the builders of our current world would have taken a lot more seriously. I don’t think Ashley would go so far as to suggest that all left-wing voters are Satanists though, but equally, many on the right likely don’t have any personal experiences with the origin of true conservative values and ideals.
